Here's a sneak peek at what we have to look forward to in the next 36 hours (thanks weather.com!)

Yes, I am that addicted to PhotoShop that I added a drop shadow and I may or may not have uploaded it and tweaked it more than once....don't judge.
Dr. Chick's family owns a little cabin on a nearby lake....this is what you can see of the cabin as of today.....sad.

My heart goes out to the families whose homes are flooded. We have now lived through 2 floods (in 1 1/2 years), the devastation the water causes is unreal, I cannot imagine what it must have been like for Noah and his family, let alone our present day families that must rebuild after water damage.

My heart goes out to the families who have lost their homes and all their personal belongings. So sad!!! I hope it stops raining soon and that things get back to normal for you. I am still loving my Market Basket that I won. It goes with me when I travel and I also love using it around town when I run errands. Thanks again, so much!!!!!!! Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are going out to everyone being hit by the flooding waters. So sad, it truly breaks my heart.
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted and I'll be thinking of you!
I have been in Atlanta with my PD. Are y'all here? The rain has been frightening. Never seen it rain so hard for so long!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt's so tough to be dealing with the floods right now! I'm just praying for my family and friends and all those others in Atlanta that are being affected.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about you this morning while watching the news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family & all of the families in ATL dealing with the mass amounts of water. Lots of love xxoo
ReplyDeleteI live in Sandy Springs area so this is very familiar to me. I feel so horrible for the people whom have perished and lost everything. On the news though most people seem to have a good attitude about it all.
ReplyDeleteMy BIL lives between Hiram and Douglasville and the road to his house was entirely washed out (and since it's not a county road, he has to rebuild it himself). My SIL lives in Carrollton and that's a mess over there....we are in Marietta, so we feel lucky that it's only a stinky basement here. Hope all is well.
