Good Monday morning, chickadees!  What a great weekend we had.  Dr. Chick and I booked it to Florida for a Mongoram Chick Trunk Show.  We had a great time and so appreciate all those that came to shop and visit.

awaiting 'the storm' and a winner

Dr. Chick has been tending the fire {that is our actual fire} since about 3:00 this afternoon as we await the big storm.  Schools in our area were called off yesterday morning in anticipation of the winter event.  I did my usual Sunday afternoon grocery shopping however, the rest of my town also decided they need to grocery shop.  It was Crazy, with a capital C.  The buggy corral was empty when I entered.  I had to round up my buggy from a sweet lady returning hers from the parking lot.  I pink puffy heart the south.  Seriously y'all...love it.  However, living in the frozen tundra Iowa gives one a little perspective on winter weather and while we've done our due preparations I can't help but wonder if this storm is going to be all they predict.

This is WAY over due.  I promised it Friday and didn't deliver.  My sincerest apologies however, I'll make it up to you.  Pinkie swear.  I was overwhelmed by the response to the new Monogrammed Straw Tumblers and am so glad that y'all like them!  Without further yammering (as Kiki would say) the winner is
