So here are the 10 honest things about me....

1. For the first time in 15 years my hair has ZERO color, highlights, low lights, etc....I am 100% au naturale in the hair department.

2. I hate to fold and put away laundry.

3. I'd rather eat sweets than any other food in the world.

4. Right now, my desk looks like a bomb has gone off--it is a disorganized mess! Must rectify the situation.

5. My new favorite cosmetic is Revlon's Colorstay Overtime Lipstick in "Stay Currant" and "Everlasting Rum". These are amazing, put them on in the morning and you're still rocking them in the afternoon. They are not like others I've tried; they are odor free and don't dry out my lips. Try 'em girls, you won't be disappointed. Target sells them for $7.49!

6. I love to use the Crock Pot, there is nothing easier to fix dinner.

7. I love my family and hate being so far from them.

8. I can't wait to move back south in 138 days!

9. I collect cookbooks, but rarely use them.

10. I need to be much, much better about writing 'thank you' notes, I have boatloads of monogrammed stationery but don't use it nearly as often as I should.

For all you Ponytail Chicks

This my latest "must-have" item. Whether I'm stitching in the studio or heading out to dinner with the Dr. Chick this sterling silver ponytail holder is the perfect accessory for my ponytailed mane. I love it because it is preppy and classic. I never know what to put around the plain elastic when sporting the ponytail. I'm {way} too old for a bow and I am super picky about clips. This is my new perfect accessory!

I am Ashamed to Admit it

Y'all, I am hooked on ABC's "The Bachelor". I have not watched the show before but saw last Monday's premiere. Tonight, I find myself on the couch, laptop in hand, blizzard conditions swarming outside, watching Jason give Erica the final rose. I want to see who he chooses, I have my favorites and those that I'd love to see go. Guess I'll have to tune in next week too....

Toe Nail Monograms--Too Much?

Y'all know that I'm all about some monogramming...I mean really, I'm the Monogram Chick. However, even I have my limits. I was surfing the net today and came across "toenail monograms". Seriously, toenail monograms!



I had been suffering from bloggers-block (due, I believe, to my extended break from blogging) yet I knew immediately when I saw these that I'd be asking y'all what you think.
Now don't get me wrong, if it moves, I'll slap a preppy monogram on it {my brother-in-law likes to tease me and sister chick that we'd monogram our *hineys* if we could} but I think a monogram on the toenails could be a bit much. I am willing to be swayed, my position on the matter is not rock solid....what do y'all think? Would you sport these bad boys on your pretty polished toes? Just right? Too much?
