Winter weather in the Midwest is a bummer. I've spent the morning watching the Travel Channel taunt me with awesome blue skies and comfortable temps while outside the wind is whipping the snow into what I've been told is called a "ground blizzard". Ground. Blizzard. Two words this Georgia girl never expected to put together in a sentence. Much less, put in a sentence to describe the meteorological events taking place outside her door.
