Never Lose Your Keys Again

As I read the title of this post, I hear it in my head said by Billy Mays in that super annoying shouting-voice he does....rethinking the title now....creativity is not flowing....'Never Lose Your Keys Again' it is.
.
.

That was a long intro for a simple, yet indespensible accessory we all use every day--our keys.
I love this monogrammed, acrylic key ring for a few reasons:

  • It is large (3 inches round to be exact) and is insanely easy to find in the bottom of my often disheveled, quite oversied handbag.

  • It sports a fab monogram, why not monogram your key ring?

  • It makes an affordable, yet thoughtful gift (espcially for teachers--I would have loved a gift like this when I taught over the 99th glass apple I got at the end of the year.)

One client even purchased them for an entire group of ladies attending a ladies retreat, how clever!

3 Cheers for Spring

Hey Y'all! Seems like forever since I've blogged--it has been, I know!
Spring-time is here and that means Easter, weddings, graduation, baby showers and mother's day--all events where gift giving is the norm. The great thing is that y'all are giving Monogram Chick gifts! Everything from bibs/burps and lovies to robes and cosmetic bags...we've been c-r-a-z-y around here. When things are crazy blogging is the first thing to be put on the back burner. Sorry, but it's true.
But I have good news, there is a blogger who has not been slacking, my good friend, (who I can't wait to meet IRL---asap!) Mrs. Newlywed {Misadventures of a Newlywed}. Each day she brings us fantastic material full of wit, insight and real life. Tomorrow {Wednesday}, she'll be sharing the Monogram Chick love with a giveaway. I won't spoil the surprise, check out her blog and enter to win!

Bag 'Em and Tag 'Em

I love a good sale, espcially a buy one get one free sale!

Seems that in the next couple of months I have some major traveling to do; which in turns means major packing--yuck!. I will, of course, be using my Sweet Pea Designs Luggage Tags. These are such a great deal, espcially when you buy one and get the second (duplicate) one f-r-e-e. That's 2 luggage tags for $10. Personalized. Cute. Preppy. Luggage Tags.

Of course, the options with these tags are endless...here are some fab gift giving ideas:

New Parents/Parents to Be

New Graduates

School-aged Kids

Newlyweds

Fathers & Grandfathers

Mothers, Grandmothers & Teachers

So a little back story on the title of this post. As I was thinking about what clever, catchy title I could use "bag 'em and tag 'em" came to mind. I have to give credit however, to Mr. Musick, my 12th grade anatomy teacher. Each afternoon when {my favorite} class was winding down and it was time to put away whatever object we were dissecting, he'd call out "Tag 'Em and Bag 'Em". I've never forgotten it and probably never will--I loved that class & Mr. Musick.
