I Know Scrunchies are O-U-T....

But what do y'all do to dress it up when you're rocking the pony? I have my fabulous Monogrammed Ponytail holder, but some days that just doesn't cut it. My hair is the longest it is has been. Ever. I admit, I sport the pony tail frequently and feel like I need a little something-something to accessorize the often present pony tail. Here is my dilemma....I find the accessories that are already on the rubber band uncomfortable and awkward, what does that leave me?

I've searched Etsy (did you know scrunchies still sell?!) and while there are some adorable hair accessories for little girls there seems to be nothing for big girls....is this because a brown rubber band is all I need? School me ladies....I need help. What do you use to accessorize your ponytail?

The boring brown ponytail holder works for me! I have pretty curly hair, so it doesn't need too much accesorizing. At least in my opinion. I'm probably wrong. =)

Oh how I wish the scrunchies would make a comeback. They were so great back in the day. Now I just use a clear ponytail holder. Nothing special but it does the trick.

Wrap a piece of your hair around the band from underneath your pony. Secure it underneath with a bobby pin.

Or a black grosgrain tied in a knot.

I actually wear headbands with my ponytails or low buns. Creates instant pretty!

I have a tortoise shell clip from J. Crew that is my go to hair accessory. I carry it in my bag all the time so even if I'm at work late and my hair is getting annoying I can clip it all back.

I love just wrapping a piece of hair around the ponytail and bobby pinning it underneath. Classic and simple!

I recently used a flower pin (two of them actually) on my pony tail. Just a few bobby pins and the "pin" was converted into a hair accessory!

I struggle with this too! The best thing I have found is to use a barrette, but sometimes my hair is too thick. Please let me know if you get any great inspiration!
