Be Still My Heart

This little muchkin melts my heart.  This is Parker, "Master P", my newbie nephew.  He is 2 weeks old today and is absolutely preshy presherson.  I cannot wait to get my hands on him again and nuzzle his sweet little face.

Now that I'm an auntie to Kiki's bebe, I need a name.  I need an auntie name for Master P to know me by.  My question for y'all, my darling chickadees is this....by what name to you call your aunts?  I don't want to be Aunt Sarah....I want something else, something better. I've got one name in mind, but I'm not wholeheartedly committed to it and need your help.  Pretty please?

As you know, I'm "Aunnie" to my little nieces and nephew peeps! I love it! Aunnie N sometimes comes out too!

You could be Aunnie Chick and go by Aunnie! It's VERY easy for the tiny ones to say too. I claim my Parker's first word was "aunnie" even tho it wasn't :)

My aunt & Godmother went by Auntie Blue-Blue and we called her "Blue-Blue" because she had giant blue eyes.... just like YOU! So there's another option.

xxoxo

I'm afraid I'm not much help. My niece calls me Aunt Ashley & my daughter calls my sister Kiki so...good luck.

My name is Leslie, which is really hard for little ones to say and my oldest nephew's version of it when he was tiny was "Sassy" - which has stuck. So I'm aunt Sassy. And to be honest, I love it! :-)

Okay, so I know I am partial BUT P is soooo darn cute. Even at 4 am when he doesn't seem to want to sleep. :) The picture is fabulous...why didn't you brag on your photog skills? Guess I will have to do that when I finally get to blogging!

My niece calls my Rue or Rue Rue. When I was little my mom and aunt would call me Channa Rue and now my niece calls me that. Do you have a nick name to play off of?

My given name is Margaret, nickname is maggi & my nieces & nephew call me Aunt Grits...not cause I'm southern or cause I like the food, but as in the sound that comes out when a true southerner says Margaret.

Hey Sarah. I adore this picture of Master P. He is an absolute angel! I have a suggestion for yours and Niles names. I have to admit that these names are not original and are being "used" by a very sweet couple here in Jacksonville. My name suggestion is for y'all to be called Doc and Aunt Honey. Doc for obvious reasons and Aunt Honey b/c you are a southern girl sweet as honey. I am enjoying keeping up with you through your blog. Lots of love to you from me.

Just found your blog and am trolling around. Cute pa-tootie little boy!! As for "aunt" names, I am "Auntie". Just simply Auntie. My niece did not even know I had a first name until she was 10. Then she got really upset because she didn't know who Chavaun (my first name) was. Good luck coming up with yours!

My sister's name is Evelyn and my little boy (who is now a big 11 years old!) couldn't say her name so I started referring to her as Aunt E and now that's who she is. So maybe Aunt S? I love it! Also, we call the grandma's Grandma C and Grandma B for their last initials!
