Trick or Treat, Let's have a Giveaway!

The air is cooling, the leaves are turning and the pumpkins are making their way from the patches to our doorsteps. Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love all that fall brings; the rich colors, the savory scents, and the brisk autumn air. As a child I loved dressing up for Halloween and always looked forward to my mom's handmade costumes.

I know my sister (the bride) and I (the nurse) would have loved a personalized treat bag to carry on Halloween night to stash all our loot!

I can't decide which is my favorite; the Black and Orange Bucket Totes, The Spooktacular Eco Totes, or the Classic Black Trick or Treat Tote but one thing is for sure--whether your passing out candy in the front yard or sending your little one off to Trick or Treat they will hold some serious candy!

Since Halloween is right around the corner and we had 60 degree weather here in the Midwest today, I'm feeling like giving away a Classic Black "Trick or Treat" Halloween Tote! Leave a comment with your favorite costume you wore as a kid and I'll draw a winner on Friday.

Custom Decals for one Tangled Chick

I love SITS, I have met some of the most amazing bloggers through those Saucy Girls. Not the least of whom is Rhea, over at Texas Word Tangle. This girl is awesome! She is one of those daily visits that you just can't wait to read. I was honored when she asked me to design a decal for her vehicle around her blog.

Rhea was terrific to work with and was so kind to blog about her custom decal. Through this amazing chick, I met Jen over at Buried With Children and created a custom decal for her van, overflowing with kiddos!

A Sweet, Sweet Man

In my book, my husband has the market cornered on being sweet and thoughtful, he is seriously a wonderful man who gives unconditional support and love. There are many great men out there and we love them for it!

To my lovely wife, I am always thinking of you and you are doing an AMAZING job with our son. I love you more and more every day!

Did your heart not just melt?! Bless this man's heart! I do not personally know this customer, but I sure do think he's a swell guy and she's one lucky mama!

This is what he bought her, I smudged the personalization because this girl deserves a surprise!

7 Wierd/Random Facts About Me:

1. I must wear socks to bed, without them I don't sleep.

2. I L-O-V-E Diet Coke specifically fountain Diet Coke. I don't drink Diet Coke from a can or bottle. I am partial to McDonald's fountain Diet Cokes, they taste better than any other fountain I've found, really. I also am an ice snob. The Great American Cookie Co and Sonic have the best ice. If you could combine their ice with MickyD's Diet Coke, I'd be in heaven.

3. I live in Iowa but have my hair cut in Birmingham, Alabama. Strange, I know. But whenever we go home to Georgia I make a trip to Joel in Birmingham to have my hair cut. I've been with Joel since 1998 and through 4 salons!

4. I hate mouth noises. Odd that I married a dentist. {He does not make mouth noises}

5. I have lots of jeans (into the double digits) but only ever wear 3 pair of them.

6. I hoard pens, markers and good wooden pencils. I love sharpies--colorful ones, clickable ones, fine ones, really any ones.

7. I had my picture taken with Sarah Palin last week.

A Facelift!

The Chick is Back!

After a restful and much needed little break the Chick is back and hard at work! Thanks to everyone who continued to place orders this past week--we'll be busy in the coming days--and can't wait to get started!

As promised, we've added Personalized Plates! I am so excited, I wish y'all could hear me squeal, these plates are SO COOL! For those of you that are making an effort to "Go Green" why not take the next step and ditch the paper plates for melamine plates? You'll be the envy of the neighborhood, your tailgating friends will be so jealous, and your preppy new plates will be great conversation starters! I can't decide if my fav is the funky zebra plate or the more classic vine plate. Let us know which you like best!

For those of you that don't know about melamine...here's the 4-1-1: Melamine is a high melting organic that is used to make thermosetting molding compounds. When cured under high pressure and temperature, melamine mouldings exhibit resistance to heat, water and chemicals. Meaning it is dishwasher, but not microwave safe. And they are BPA free!

Vacation!

The Chick and her chickadees have been hard at work all summer with no time to play and are going to enjoy a little rest and relaxation. When we return we have some great products that we'll be adding....for those of you that can't live without personalized dinnerware--we've got it!
Can't wait to show off the new products but this week we'll rest and get our creative juices flowing so that next week when our machines are humming along we'll be ready!

We Love LOVIES! {Another Sneak Peek}

For those of you that already know about our fabulous Angel Dear Lovies know that your children cannot get along with out them. For those of you who are seeing them for the first time will surely fall in love. They are super soft and super adorable. Mothers order them 2 and 3 at a time just to have a spare on hand in case of emergency. Nothing seems to comfort better than cuddling up to a monogrammed monkey or puppy dog security blanket. Our personalized lovies make such a great gifts because they are reasonably priced and will be used over and over again.

We are happy to announce that we are expanding our line of Lovies & can't wait for the man in brown to bring them to our doorstep! The newest addition to the lovie zoo couldn't be any cuter--meet Mr. Giraffe, he is great for both baby boys and little girls.

We will also be adding other fabulous Angel Dear products including the sweet little rattles and the extra comfy monogrammed nap pillows. You'll be the first to know as soon as they arrive! Just another sneak peek of the great fun we had at Market.
