A New Assistant?

Today was an amazing fall day; the leaves are changing and are beautiful!
{tree in the front yard}

The sun was shining, the air was crisp and Dr. Monogram Chick was playing ball with Doggy Monogram Chick after church this afternoon. Then, all of a sudden there was a commotion like none other. You see, Doggy had chased this little friend into the house!

After about 45 minutes, a serious inspection of one of the embroidery machines, and a trip through the ventilation system Mr. Chipmunk returned safely to the yard. Never a dull moment around here!

How funny! A wild rabbit just had babies in our "pug pen"...The puggies love them, but luckily none of them have made it into the house yet!

We had a squirrel in our fireplace on time...when there was a fire. The little guy made it out safely only burning the tip of his tail because he made a ruckus on the screem

Oh, no! That is not an assistant that you want. We had one that was chased into our old house. Our cats literally scared the poop out of him. It was not fun to clean...

re: Mad Men - I did notice the 'gun' scene. I wondered if that is symbolic b/c remember his wife thought that was such a ridiculous purchase?? or maybe something much darker. Mos Def want Don and Betty to patch it up. I would like to see the focus move from their bad marriage to someone else's problems- haha. Still want to see mucho of Don Draper, but something good for a change!! Duck - oh my gosh. He botched it, didn't he? The look on his face when Don said 'I don't have a contract' - pretty priceless. Don't know when the new shows start...can't wait though! So glad you got caught up. By the way - did you see Don Draper on SNL? He was great! So odd to see him being funny and more laid back...

How fun! My yard is full of "chippies" (as my girls call them) and I've come close to letting one in the house a few times. They ask daily why they can't keep one in their room.
